Why We Love Mike Tyson
by
JT Van V
First off, you might not love Mike Tyson, that's fine, but it would be hard to say that you don't love greatness. I think a part of all of us wants to see greatness in action, particularly in sports. We are inspired by guys like Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Tiger Woods, Wayne Gretzky, Roger Federer, Usain Bolt, Muhammad Ali, they move us to achieve more and become better.

Mike Tyson Rise and Downward Spiral
by
Shamont Mazyck
I was not alive to watch boxing greats like Jack Dempsey, Muhammad Ali, and Joe Frazier, but I was alive to watch the rise and fall of Mike Tyson. My dad was a huge boxing fan and being in the military there were always get together's on base for every big boxing match one of the first fights I remember seeing was the Sugar Ray Leonard vs. Marvin Hagler in May of 1986.

All is Not Lost, Mike Tyson
by
Patrick Pearce
Former Heavyweight Champion Mike Tyson still remains in my spirit not only as one of my boxing Greats, but also a fond memory of my first days in the United States of America. In 1985, I embarked on a journey from the island of Jamaica to New York City. I had the opportunity to witness the making of a great champion, Mike Tyson, and the last years of President Ronald Reagan.

Remembering Mike Tyson
by
Hermilando Aberia
If Roberto Duran was born with "Hands Of Stone," Mike Tyson grew up as a child with a pent up rage in his heart. Like many boys his age, Tyson grew pigeons. One day thugs bullied him. Somebody decapitated one of his pets, beheading it with bare hands.

Mike Tyson: The Price Of Fame
by
A. Albert
They say that fame comes with a price. Behind the spotlight, there is an unfamiliar world full of luxury cars, beautiful women who are willing to give themselves to you, non-stop partying, and an endless flow of booze. Of course, this world is restricted to only a privileged few, so mere mortals have no place there. However, living in a world of glitter and glamour comes at a high price and Mike Tyson is living proof of it.

What Has Mike Tyson Done Since Boxing?
by
B Trammo
There is no sense arguing the fact the Mike Tyson is one of the greatest boxers to live. He has 50 wins with only six losses. Out of 50 wins, 44 of them were by knock out. As a matter of fact his first 19 wins were by knockout. He has beat some of the biggest names in the sport such as Trevor Berbick, Razor Ruddick, and Larry Holmes. Although Mike Tyson did have some really bad defeats, he still considered one of the best and was accepted to International Boxing Hall of Fame on June 12, 2011.

Why Syria Matters to Us
by
Deborah J. Thompson
Syria has been in the news almost daily for the past 17 months. But how many of us really understand what is happening there and how it matters to us? Father Nadim Nassar is the first and only Episcopal Priest of Syrian descent in the Church of England and recently granted me an interview. This fascinating and information exchange hopefully allowed me to strike the right balance between information, relevance to the readers, and historical context. I hope it helps those of us who aren't well-versed in Middle Eastern politics, to better understand the situation in Syria and how it affects us all.

John Claeys
Hizbullah has threatened that Syria, Iran, Iraq, and Hizbullah will eliminate Israel. However, the Bible shows us that will not be the case; instead, God will provide a very different result. See what that will be in this article.

Ancient Greater Syria History
by
Jeremiah Say
At one time in history, Syria (also known as Greater Syria) covered a much larger area geographically than it does today. In ancient times, Greater Syria encompassed the modern day country, as well as Israel, parts of Jordan, Kurdistan, Israel, and Palestinian territories. It connected three continents as a crossroads of the Caspian Sea, the Indian Ocean, the Black Sea, and the Nile River.

Is the Iran-Syria War Pact Still Intact?
by
Lance Winslow
Several years ago, the Iranian and Syrian Leadership entered a very verbal and highly publicized war-pact, most likely due to the Iran's worry that it might someday in the future find itself in a war with Israel or the United States. Adding Syria's military might to Iran's could insure that an attack on either would be met with a much larger and stronger force than either one might muster by themselves.

The Silent War Between Israel And Syria
by
James W Smith
So what happened on the morning of September 6, 2007? Israel has instituted a news blackout beyond saying that Israeli soldiers demonstrated unusual courage in acting against Syria. Syria indicates that Israel violated its airspace and fired missals on ground targets. Iran has been absolutely quiet, very unusual for them. There has been no comment across the Middle East. Europe is quiet on the issue.

John Claeys
The Syrian regime is in trouble, as the protest movement grows and the Assad government faces financial problems. How might God use this situation to prepare for the fulfillment of Bible prophecy?
