Most people think of the book series when they hear the phrase Pretty Little Liars, and they wouldn't be wrong. The books introduced this intriguing story to the public, but it wasn't intended that way. Originally, Alloy Entertainment, even though they themselves are a book packaging company, had to sell the rights to what was originally intended as a TV show to author Sara Shepard in 2006, and only after the whole series had gone to print, did it find the popularity that it needed to make it's way onto TV.

June 8, 2010 marked the debut of Pretty Little Liars on American television; a show is based on the series of novels written by Sara Shepard bearing the same title. The series is set on the town of Rosewood and revolve around the lives of four girls: Hanna Marin (played by Ashley Benson), Emily Fields (played by Shay Mitchell), Spencer Hastings (Trojan Bellisario) and Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale). The four girls used to be close friends, however, when their queen bee Alison DiLaurentis (played by Sasha Pieterse) disappears, their clique falls apart.

The other day I was spelunking online, looking at the dating blogs and I came across an article on one of the biggest bugaboos associated with online dating; misrepresentation. (Or less politely, lying.) The article, entitled "How To Tell If They Are Lying Online" had some pretty good advice, but with (I thought) a stronger bias toward the negative than was perhaps deserved.

Are All Internet Marketers Liars?

A well respected marketer who sent me an email with the subject line 'You have won...' comes to mind. Honestly I don't open his emails much, but I remained a subscriber because I have purchased from him before and thought the product was pretty cool. But this one email turned me from a customer who was willing to buy again, to an ex-subscriber who no longer cares to hear from this marketer again.

Liar! The Art of Skip Tracing

What type of person makes a good skip tracer? It sounds awful to admit but the best skip tracer, in my opinion, is a very good liar... and actor. They are quick witted, mentally nimble and devious as hell. I'm not saying they don't have morals, because they do, they're just a little different from other peoples morals.
