Are US sports teams safe? The reason I ask is that an Australian cricket team was to be attacked by international terrorists from Al Qaeda. Luckily intelligence officials uncovered a plot. However since this is now known it makes sense that this is probably one of the international terrorist targets and tactics. It stands to reason that Al Qaeda would attack a famous sports team because that would stand as bold message and strike fear into society.
